In this episode, Beth and Wendy dive into the story of Rory Enrique Conde, the man who became known as Miami’s Tamiami Trail Strangler. Conde raped and strangled six victims, and his crimes included disturbing acts of sexual violence after their deaths.

We explore Conde’s troubled early life, including the death of his mother when he was an infant and the physical and sexual abuse he reportedly endured at the hands of family members. We also take a deep dive into the Miami setting, Conde’s life and crimes, and the investigation that ultimately brought his killing spree to an end.

Finally, we discuss what may have contributed to Conde’s escalation into violence and share our takeaways from the case.

As always, we leave you with our suggestions on how NOT to get murdered.

We will be taking a short break but we expect to be back on October 25th, 2018 for season 2.
