E62: The Night Stalker

Happy Halloween! This week Beth and Wendy discuss the case of Richard Ramirez AKA the Night Stalker, who in April of 1984 went on a killing spree in California, mutilating and murdering at least 14 people. For over a year, Ramirez crept into houses in the middle of the night to rape and torture randomly selected victims.

We dive into the Stats (7:08), the setting (8:15), the killers early life (13:13) and the timeline (20:52).  Then, we get into the investigation & arrest (47:32), the trial (52:27) followed by “Where are they now?” (55:07). We get into our Take Aways and what we think made the perp snap (57:45 ).

As usual we close out the show with how not to get murdered tips (1:02:33), true crime news (1:05:53) and some shout outs (1:07:55).

Thanks for listening! This is a weekly podcast and new episodes drop every Thursday, so until next time… look alive guys, it’s crazy out there!
