This week Beth and Wendy discuss Mohammed Bijeh, an Iranian serial killer who in the press was called the “Vampire of the Tehran Desert”, or sometimes, with his accomplice Ali Baghi (aka Ali Gholampour “The Hyenas”. Bijeh raped and killed 16 boys and killed 2 adults.
We spend some time with the history of Iran (12:21), what we know of the killers early life and the timeline (35:15) . Then, we get into the investigation & arrest (41:08) followed by “Where are they now?”(43:23). We get into our Take Aways and what we think made Bijeh Snap(48:41).
As usual we close out the show with some shout outs (58:28), crime news (55:37) and of course, some tips on how not to get murdered (51:32).
Thanks for listening! This is a weekly podcast and new episodes drop every Thursday, so until next time… look alive guys, it’s crazy out there!
