FRUITLOOPS REVIEWS: Knock Down the House

Back in March 2025, in honor of Women’s History Month, Wendy & Beth gathered for Video Club to discuss the documentary Knock Down the House.

The film follows four women from very different backgrounds – a Bronx bartender, a coal miner’s daughter from West Virginia, a grieving mother in Nevada, and a nurse in Missouri – as they launch grassroots campaigns to challenge powerful, long-established members of Congress. Through determination, community organizing, and a willingness to take on the political establishment, they fight for a chance to bring new voices to Washington. Their journeys culminate in one of the most surprising political upsets in recent American history.
